The hotel had a convenient location, close to all the attractions we wanted to see during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer service. the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a long day of exploring.
Our experience at the hotel was not ideal. The cleanliness of the rooms was below expectations, with a noticeable odor and overall uncleanliness.

I really love the home and staff availability I spent two weeks has formidabbles washington suites.
The blocking of the computer by children for hours and press all the buttons on the elevator so that it stops on every floor for fun I think we need more control at this level

Liked the Key Location of This Hotel, But the Service Was Disappointing. This hotel is located in the heart of the city, making it very convenient for exploring the local attractions. The room was spacious with comfortable bedding and a beautiful view of the city. Additionally, the breakfast was good with several delicious options. However, the staff was not welcoming or hospitable, which marred our experience. The hotel could benefit from hiring a more attentive and friendly staff to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Despite the negatives, the location and amenities make it worthy of consideration.

Everything was great, from the hotel staff to the services and food offered. The room was cleaned every day as well as the dishes and the connecting restaurant/bar was cheaper and had better food than anything else around.

The size of the room & kitchen facilities. As a family of 5 with larger teenagers, it was great to have the space for all of us here. We did not feel packed in like we do with most hotels.
It took quite a while for the water to heat up.

We had a great time at this hotel! The location was perfect, just minutes away from the major attractions and landmarks of the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The breakfast offered a variety of options to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful city skyline.
The Wi-Fi connection was weak and unreliable.

Spacious Suite & Free Breakfast
Stayed in a suite on our city trip and it was pretty spacious. Loved that it had a kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Plus, the free breakfast was a nice touch. Location was convenient for getting around the city and the shuttle service was helpful.
The atmosphere of the place was unsettling. Lots of people hanging around outside smoking and just generally loitering.

Convenient location to Old Alexandria, Washington dc and metro. Free parking and breakfast added value that hotels in dc did not offer. Free shuttle to area restaurants and metro was very convenient.
Decor was a little dated but the room was clean. Kitchen facilities made it easy on the budget when traveling with young children who do not eat or need big restaurant meals.

My favorite service that the hotel offered was the free shuttle, which is the biggest reason why I chose it. The shuttle service will take you to and from any location within a mile of the hotel, so you don't have to worry about driving in traffic, getting lost, or parking fees.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the walls were very thin. We could hear every noise in the hallway, but our floor was fairly quiet, so it wasn't very bothersome.

The staff was very friendly and the shuttle to the Metro was convenient. The breakfast area was roomy and well stocked. The pool was nice too.
The room looked nothing like the photo on the site. The kitchenette was probably last updated in 1965 or so, but everything was clean.

The size of the suite with the full kitchen,we didn't use it, but for a family traveling with children it would have been a blessing. We took advantage of the free bus shuttle to the Metro. It saved us the hassle of parking in D.C. The complimentary breakfast was good, pretty much on par with other hotel chains. The staff at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us tips re traveling into D.c as well as a guide sheet to local restaurants. The lady in the breakfast area,( I don't know her name), was very friendly to us. We were a family of 5 staying in two rooms and she made it a point to see that we had clean, adjoining breakfast tables so that we could sit together
Not a complaint..but..I Think that the design of the bathroom could have been better. There was no "grab bar" in the tub area to help minimize potential falls. A clothes hook on the bathroom door would have allowed us to hang up pj's,towels, etc. There was no space to keep ones toilet articles. One or two shelves or a corner shelf stand would have been great. Since you are using a pedestal wash basin a vanity is probably out of the question. You have no control over this next item. It was spring break and there were many student groups at the Suites,(primarily middle schoolers). There was one night when they were particularly rowdy,( I was there myself 100 years ago).My daughter complained to the front desk by phone and in person, as did other guests. The following night there were 3 security officers on duty to "keep the peace". Where were the chaperones?? To your credit we received a credit on our bills citing a "noise complaint", ( thank you Cathy). If you are booking student groups,( which you have every right to do ),you might want to provide them with a "Code of Conduct". No running up and down the aisles, knocking on doors, screaming at the top of her lungs,( as our neighbor did at 6:00am), "Good Morning Washington D.c" This is not to be registered as a complaint but an F.Y.i My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Washington Suites and are planning to return in September when all the kids at back in school

I would recommend Washington Suites to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, friendly hotel close to Washington D.C. The staff was wonderful. They were always ready and able to answer any questions we had about the area. When we needed directions to Ford's Theater, they printed them out for us (Carmen did this). Same thing with Mount Vernon (Justin did this). Our room was always nice and clean and very roomy. The 2nd floor restaurant/bar had very friendly service and very good food. And the price was perfect - very reasonable. Staying at Washington Suites helped to make our trip perfect!
